The Red Light That Won't Turn Green
A poem by Juliet Faller, set to music by me.

A couple of years ago, my friend Jeremy, loving father of 2 improbably adorable girls, dropped into a pandemic-era chat room where I hang out, and shared with us a poem that his then 5-year-old daughter had written. When I heard it, I was thunderstruck, and I asked for a copy of it. She obliged. I’m told that it was her first printout.

Yesterday, on my birthday, I set it to music, and here it is.

Bonus!
Also, the other day, Jeremy suggested that I do a cover version of Once in a Lifetime. So I did. I sent it to him, and he replied, “My God! What have I done?”
